WHAT IS GICLÉE PRINTING?
The giclée printing method is used to produce high-quality art prints.
I use a 10-color water-based inkjet printer from Epson to print onto high-quality paper from Hahnemühle. The printing method ensures long-term quality, fine lines, and excellent color covering. The method is also more environmentally friendly, using water-based ink instead of oil-based solvent ink.
My print shop in Copenhagen (Jespersens tryk) and Too Many Prints in Oslo produce my large-format prints (>50x70 cm), both with giclée standard.
DO YOU PROVIDE Custom framing?
Yes, I can arrange for custom framing for customers in Oslo.
My local frame shop (innrammingoslo.no) offers a wide range of handmade frames in various materials and colors.
Send a message to studio@mariariddervold.com if you want more information. I will contact you with information about costs and to determine the frame's specifications.
The customer must pick up the artwork at Rammeverkstedet in August at Cappelens gate 3a in Oslo. The framing is paid upon pick-up. The average expedition time is approx. one business week.
